Tube Dude will participate in yet another exciting event this coming February: The Gigantic Nautical Flea Market 2023. You’re welcome to join him and marvel at his latest handiwork at two locations in Islamorada, Florida. This takes place from February 25th and 26th, all the way down in the gorgeous Florida Keys.
Here’s a little background on the event and some information about this site’s owner, Tube Dude.
The Gigantic Nautical Flea Market 2023
Every year the Rotary Club in Islamorada, FL, puts on an outdoor event we can best describe as “The Boat Show with a Beach.” That’s because it invites folks of all ages to shop and check out all things “nautical” such as boats, fishing equipment, diving gear, and much more.
The entire event is outdoors and includes plenty of food trucks and other novelties. This year, one of those novelties will be none other Tube Dude, who plans to bring his unique, hand-crafted metal art to the Florida Keys. It’s sure to be a blast.
The Gigantic Nautical Flea Market 2023 lasts from the 25th to the 26th of February, with the gates opening at 8 a.m. that Saturday. The easiest way to get there is to park at Coral Shores High School and catch the shuttle to Islamorada.
If you’re feeling bold, you can also hop on a metal-art turtle to get across the waters. Either way, we can’t wait to see you there.
About Tube Dude
Tube Dude will have a couple booths at the event where he hopes to surprise event patrons with a selection from his hundreds of tube creations.
Scott Gerber, a resident of Sarasota and creator of Tube Dude, is no stranger to the Florida Keys, since he’s actually a retired yacht builder. After leaving that business in 2010, Gerber has dedicated himself to creative entrepreneurship that truly puts smiles on faces. His metal tube creations are a big hit at every event he attends.
