We cover every possible angle of the wonderful things in life at the Tube Dude blog. This even includes all you cat lovers out there. Today, we want to talk about a couple of things: taking care of cats in the warm Florida summer, and decorating with cat tubes.
Watch Out for Parasites
Subtropical climates like we have in Sarasota carry a somewhat higher risk for parasites in pets. If you love your furry friends, you’ll want to take them to the vet and employ all necessary precautions. Oftentimes, this means utilizing preventative medication to guard against heartworms, fleas, ticks, and other nasty biohazards lurking around you.
Keep Cats Hydrated
Humans aren’t the only ones susceptible to heat-related illnesses. You always want to keep your pets hydrated and in the shade when the weather exceeds 90 degrees consistently. Maybe sneak a few ice cubes into your cat’s water dish, too. This is an effective trick, especially if your cat is getting older or carrying around a few extra pounds.
Address Allergy Concerns
Do you like beautiful tree blossoms, flowers, and other floral life? We do, as well, but it carries a huge risk for allergy aggravations. Your cats are no exception to this. It’s one thing for them to cough up furballs periodically. Alas, it’s not good to leave them lingering with allergy problems like itching, scratching, or other abnormal behaviors. Try to keep an eye on how they groom themselves. If they appear excessive with the licking and scratching, that could signal the need to get the vet involved.
Tube Dude’s Cat Collection
So, yes, we also have a wonderful array of cat tube creations for your lawn, gardening, and other decorative purposes. Even if you don’t have a pet, this is a great way to love cats without changing litter boxes. Right now, we have nine of these feline varieties, including:
- Cat Dude
- Cat Coat Rack (for handy indoor storage)
- Scaredy Cat
- Climbing Cat
- . . . and more!
Not a cat lover? That’s no problem because we also have several iterations of dogs, squirrels, dragons, lions, and all sorts of other animals. We think dragon tubes pair up nicely with real-life cats.
Tube Dude tries his best to satisfy all the tube-related market demand in Sarasota and all over the country. It’s a mighty burden, but his inventory of hundreds of tube sculptures will impress any animal lover.
